Welcome to the Family!

AYSO is an amazing organization with hundreds of thousands of players nationwide. We are part of something magical that can only be good for our children, as long as we keep it that way. Region 1641 takes great pride in its players and its volunteers; without you, there would be no soccer "On The Hill". To that end, we ask that every parent/guardian take an active and proactive role in each and every sporting event attended by helping out on and off the field, being committed to your family's participation in AYSO, and communicating with coaches and the board about good stuff as well as the uncomfortable.

In the mornings on game days, there are fields to be set up, concession stands to be organized, coffee to make, possible gofer holes to fill, coaches to help get organized, and referees to encourage and thank. In the afternoon, all of the equipment must be put away, trash must be picked up, and trucks must be loaded with the items that must be transported back and forth to the fields. Field maintenance is also a necessary activity that can be completed by any number of volunteers.  We (the board) cannot do this all by ourselves. We need every person to participate in some way. It is for the kids. If everybody is WILLING to help, NOBODY has to do the work alone, (unless they want to).

I guess what I am asking for is this: As much as you can, whether player or parent, please come along side and help us to make soccer "On The Hill" the best sports experience for you children. They are so worth it!
